While at Dragon*Con (http://dragoncon.org/) this weekend, I was able to attend a World of Warcraft add-ons panel hosted by Cameron Knight, commonly known as ckknight (http://wow.curse.com/members/ckknight.aspx), the developer of such add-ons as Cartographer (http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/cartographer.aspx), Pitbull (http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/pit-bull.aspx), Chinchilla, and FuBar (http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/fubar.aspx). As a day job, he is currently the Lead Developer for both Curseforge (http://www.curseforge.com/)and WoWAce.com (http://www.wowace.com/) as well as working as an add-on developer liaison with Blizzard to make sure the major add-on developers get access to the Cataclysm (http://www.wow.com/cataclysm/) beta. The questions during the session ranged from how to write add-ons, add-on recommendations for newcomers, and even funny bug reports and anecdotes. After the break is the summarized version of the panel.
