MMO Champion has datamined up some video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wpn9sxtbY-g&eurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.mmo-champion.com%2Findex.php&feature=player_embedded) of the new Pandaren Monk vanity pet that's been floating around (http://www.wow.com/2009/08/28/patch-3-2-2-ptr-pandaren-and-lil-k-t-pets-revealed-in-latest/), and as you can see above, it's pretty darned awesome. Just like the Grunty the Murloc pet (http://www.wow.com/2009/08/25/grunty-vs-zergling-battle-video/), this one comes with some fun animations, and they look terrific. Blizzard has been pretty coy about getting the Pandaren (http://www.wowwiki.com/Pandaren) into the game, and they're teasing big here, too -- this little bear's got moves that would make the Diablo III Monk (http://www.wow.com/2009/08/21/new-diablo-iii-class-monk/) hang his head in shame.
However, the question remains: how do we get it? At this point, it's just speculation and rumor -- some say it might be a special anniversary pet for people who've been subscribed all five years of the game's life, some suggest it might be part of the Cataclysm (http://wow.com/cataclysm) collector's edition (past CEs have had a pet in each one, including a Diablo figure (http://warcraftpets.com/wow.pets/mythical/mythical.figures/mini_diablo.asp) in the first box), and still others suggest that the Monk will be a new pet in the upcoming Brewfest holiday (http://www.wow.com/2008/09/20/brewfest-rounded-up/). How do we get it, really?
