is it just me or do those screen shots look no better than T1?? If the sacrifice is for gameplay, I'm all up for it, but sheessh, talk about a difference from the pictures I saw a few months back :/

Those look to me like Beta shots on a journalists' PC.. Not the sweet stuff we have been seeing.

Yeah, I agree. I think its a matter of LOD. Perhaps the person taking the screens didn't have the power to run the game in full detail mode, or something.

The devs have said that they screwed up, those shots were taken on a low-end PC running at lowest graphics settings. They apparently didn't realize that Gamespot was taking pics at that particular time. Apparently they have a tonne of people saying to them, "wtf those shots look terrible! what'd you do to the game?!?!?!"
