Path to Night Elf Area?

If someone could, please lay out the path of how I would get to the Night Elf area. You can start from either Ironforge or Stormwind, I'll be able to figure it out from there. Thanks!

Um, it isn't short, and I'd actually be able to talk you through it better than laying out a set of directions now since I can't remember the map names.

Note: Trip is quite dangerous until lvl 20, but if you don't mind the possibility of dying and resing, and continuing on some more, I can get you there.
