Blizzard helped an Indiana sheriff (http://www.massively.com/2009/12/31/from-azeroth-to-canada-tracking-down-a-fugitive-in-world-of-war/) track an allegedly drug-dealing, definitely WoW-playing fugitive to Canada. Sheriff's Deputy Matt Roberson, who used to play World of Warcraft, discovered that Alfred Hightower aka Rastlynn, was an avid player. So he contacted Blizzard with a request for help in locating his quarry (http://kokomoperspective.com/news/local_news/article_15a0a546-f574-11de-ab22-001cc4c03286.html). Three months later, Blizzard sent Roberson a package containing Rastlynn's IP address, billing address and other info. After finding out the fugitive's latitude and longitude from his IP, Roberson used Google Search to pinpoint Rastlynn's exact location. With the cooperation of Canadian authorities, Hightower has been deported and now awaits his fate in the U.S.

The teenager who threatened to blow up a plane (http://www.wow.com/2009/07/14/wow-gamer-threatens-to-blow-up-plane/) using in-game chat.
The kid who threatened to kill himself (http://www.wow.com/2006/11/27/blizzard-takes-banned-players-suicide-threat-seriously/) if his ban wasn't removed.
The teen who was arrested (http://www.wow.com/2009/01/01/teen-arrested-for-making-suicide-threat-to-a-gm/) for making a suicide threat to a GM.
