Err neat..though I think most game engines could do that...for sure Tribes.

DaoC was the only game I can think of that even gave you the ability to jump off a "public" ride.

I would assume you could jump from the balloons, the dragon, the gondolas <sp> and I have seen it from the hang gliders.

At any rate the sheer height was also impressive. (notice the player could move his body in flight which might mean some level of direcional control while falling /shrug)
