L.A. Noire, a new game coming out this spring by Rockstar is looking pretty amazing. Check out this video for the technology they're using for 3D face capture and how realistic the facial expressions are:

I just watched the Tech movie in the first post... Wow. Great face capture. Makes it feel more like a movie, than a cgi generated sequence..

Pretty cool, the detective mechanics of exploring and inspecting items is cool. The facial expressions are awesome, it's not just in the cut scenes either but in game play. Trying to determine if someone is lying by their expression and actions is tough. It seems a bit more linear, you are assigned cases one after the other, so there doesn't seem to be the world exploration during down-time other rockstar games seem to provide.

If you like GTA and/or RDR you will like this.
