I've never seen a game pushed early, I've only seen them being push for months and months, SWG, T2, and more

I know. It's brutal. In one of my software development classes in college, they gave us this rule for estimating project times:

Take the absolute maximum amount of time you think the project will take. Double it. That's likely the minimum amount of time required.

I've done a bit of programmimg, and you always need to double your time, back in the days of 0s and 1s, finding your mistake must of been hell
