Still looking for a good FPS

I didn't really like PS... too much going on. I want to shoot stuff up or CTF type stuff.

Well if your a total noob to FPSs then i recommend getting something that has a good single player to learn on. If you go out and just play multiplayer you'll probably get frustrated fast and loose intrest.
I highly recommend the Half-Life series. You dont necessarily need to start with HL1 but if you want to get the whole story you should. HL2 is seriously a awsume single player game and not hard at all on easy mode.
And you can jump into online deathmatches which can be a lot of fun even if your not doing good. And theres a shit tone of other games that are built off-of HL like counter strike and day of defeat.

Call of Duty has a great single player too but i think COD2 was lacking something compared to COD1. Multiplayer is awsume but would be tough for a newby to learn compared to other FPSs.

Then of coarse theres Battlefield. Single player...is just there...not much to it at all though. Its like playing against an old warcraft 2 AI. Also the AI in single player is a resource hog, so you can't have to many NPCs or you'll get major performance loss.
In most cases i prefer BF1 to BF2, mainly because BF2 still has a lot of lag issues and the desert combat mod (which is what BF2 was built off of) for BF1 kicked some serious ass. On the other hand its very similar to PS due to you being able to drive vehicles and fly planes. Theres also plenty of weappons.

Just haven't found a good one to play multiplayer on. I did some UT back in the day and might get back into that for a while to get over this craving.

Ah my computer farked up so I clicked submit twice or something. I think the site is having some issues too or it won't talk to Firefox correctly.

UT is pretty nice, esp. since they added vehicles to UT2k5 for multiplayer. Niz won't play with me anymore since he says I practice too often.

Mag, PS is a great game! But you need to use your brains for it so I guess that is the problem in your case :D You should play something like UT, for the brainless gamers!
