To everyone in the alpha and charlie squads from last night. I know that I took a while to get to where I should've been, but that was because Mal kept sending me on wild goose chases. : )
Seriously, thanks for helping me out guys...it was great to fight along side you once more (even if I didn't help at all)
Definately see you soon

Had fun Ice. There were some pretty intense fights out there. I spent half the night camping the command room in AV MAX trying to keep the damn TR MAXes out...lol.
the 2 squads are kinda confusig for now to set up, but will get use to it, I hate the lag on the servers do

SH came into the THZ irc channel and spammed for a while. So I had to leave a T2 game and go kick his butt :).

Yo does the VANU AV MAX take out enemy maxes faster than a normal AI MAX on AP rounds would?

You bet. Takes out a nme MAX in about a full clip. (10 shots)

Last night was good fun you guys. (Wed. nite) Both squads assaulting the same bases worked well together, But I need to get my TS keybinds done.... I got to BR 7, and I am 1/3 there to 8, so that's pretty sweet.

Heck yeah, that was tons of fun! We finally started getting the different squads to gel a bit more, although we didn't communicate enough. One thing that I think should happen, when a broadcast is being made, follow a set script, such as:
"Broadcast Alpha Squad to Charlie Squad, We have secured the facility" That way you know its a broadcast from another channel. I sometimes had problems last night telling if someone from Alpha Squad had changed to our channel or was just making a broadcast.

I'll agree with that Avenger...hard to tell who's talking most of the time, but especially if they are from another channel trying to convey intel.
you guys need to read teh chat ALOT more
Spinning Hat

Chat = too SLOW. Voice is near instantaneous, and you don't have to stop firing if your keys are set right.

There's a chat??? lol

How about a shorter version of Avenger's idea: "Alpha to Charlie; we have secured the facility."
Text chat is good for some things like spelling things out. When someone says: "Invite Ja34Tds." It might be better doing that in plain text than speech. :)
I know TS is faster, I'm not asking that you type, I just asking for you guys to read it

lol just a thought, after all those years of t1 you should be able to read the chat without missing action :p :p :p

Hell, I ignored ALL chat during matches in T2...lol. If it wasnt a voice bind or on voice comm I never saw it.

I always ignore text chat for the most part. I look at it every so often, but if it ain't green, I don't read it.

There are voice binds in PS also.... hit the v key and take a look. They go out in the chat channel you have choosen (should be outfit for cross squad comm) and audibly in our general area. :)
And if Maz and Phal fixed there mics, chat wouldn't be as important. ;)

Yeah, I wish the voicebinds did to your squad like T2 did to your team instead of just doing a local sound message :( Would make it easier to get noticed.

Phal, try to go in and change the default device that TS uses or switch awayfrom Directsound in TS and see if that helps.

All we hear is white noise when you try and talk. There is no voice at all coming through.

Hmmm. Lemme look around and see what I can find. I've solved gamevoice probs in the past (unless they were mine. :( ), this should be easier.

Try the server test option, the loop back test. If you can hear yourself we should be able to hear, if not it's hozed on your end.
