Yeah.... and BOTH of them have small issues....

The old one on the left was losing the black of a couple of the keys.

The new on the right has something going on with the lcd screen...its nowhere near as bright as the old one and has some "ghost" images on the right hand side.

Awww, poor Stokey.

I picked up another Saturday because the lighting on one side was fading o the point that I could barely read the keys. Yeah yeah yeah, home row and all that crap but when you go from needing to use the mouse to needing to hit 8 in less than 2 seconds, sometimes you need to see the key. :p

My old one still works tho, which is impressive after a year with me and I figure I'll use my work laptop with it should I ever need to use that at home. The new one seems to be working out ok...but everything is great 3 days after you buy it. :p

The plan was to buy the second one, send the 1st one back for repair/exchange but it just never happened. Not sure about the LCD screen. I never noticed the 1st being brighter than the 2nd until I sat them side by side.

I know they acknowledged a "flaw" with the paint on the keys on the ealier models - other than it wearing off a little on a few of the buttons, it works great and survived me finishing off the warlock and leveling the hunter.

I must keep my eye on the LCD screen issue - if it gets worse, it will get sent back.

A friend sent me a picture of his coworker's "server".

The case is a bookshelf from Home Depot. The fan is Lasko box fan.
This picture is a little out date, it now has 2 rails of drives (28 total).
