Anyone out there looking at possibly playing Warhammer Online? Been waiting for another MMO based on PvP, and this could be a winner.

I haven't been hearing anyone talk about it so I haven't look at how it is coming along.

I had very high hopes for the game since it's based on a gaming IP being done by a decent enough PvP developer...then EA bought the company and that promptly went down the tubes.

I'll probably give it a try, but I rate EA way below SOE on MMO quality and support, and I don't rate SOE that highly.

Actually, they've announced that work has already begun on a Warhammer 40k MMO game. I'd hold out much more hope for that one :)

They also announced that they're looking at something on the order of 2010 release. ;) That was their "this is a neat idea" announcement, not a "we actually have code written" announcement.
