No spoilers at least for a few as some of us wont be playing it day and night :p.

yes indeed, God plays Xbox - it's going to my son in Australia - he has both an english and AU Xbox 360 he already has the AU version (being on the other side of the dateline FTW)

Played a little last night and graphics are awesome so far. Always have to get use to the aiming in Halo but still fun to shoot the little creatures while they are running around making comments at you :).

Did anyone get the upper end games. The $69 or the $120 one that comes with the helmet? I just got the basic one I just want to play it and kill things :).

Highlights from Co-Op (that i can remember):

Gryph - "Yeah, I'm still learning all the buttons, so if I shoot you in the back or throw grenades at you, it's an accident"
Silver - "....." /rifle smack Gryph "Oops"

Gryph - "Jeez, you're a freakin' Rambo"
Silver - "What? Since I can't aim...figure if they take up the whole screen I can't miss"

Gryph flipping the Warthog six times and it still landing on it's wheels.

During the first scene with a (noticeably) female character -
Silver - "Boooooooooobies"
Stang (in background) - "I was just going to say that"
Silver - "Gryph's zoomed in on her chest, isn't he?"

Glad to see Im not the only one that just charges in :).

I liked how before you even started playing also how I was in th living room all by myself and Gryphon was messing with the wireless headset he picked up and Im looking thru the mail and all of a sudden here Silver talking over my tv :eek:.

I'm pretty near the end in solo mode. Played one or two matches online just to see how they've changed the matchmaking. It's actually a little confusing although I think it will end up putting you in competitive matches.

Gryph's bro saw we had it yesterday so left us a message "Jerk when did you get Halo 3?" then logged in later that night and convinced him to go get it 30 mins before stores closed :D.

Ok what setting is eveyrone playing on? Easy,Heroic, or Epic? Heroic here only wussies use easy :p. And I can't use Epic or Gryphon would never play :).

finally picked it up Sat, its more fun than i thought it would be. Poohpop and I beat the campaign last night on normal, gonna go back through on Heroic.

Also tried a Ranked Match, i dont think i understand how to set parameters to get to the kinda match i want, it only puts me in 4 v all slayers. And dammit, i'd rather ride the coat tails of a team.

TF2 is still a better multi player ;)
