ive been think of what new game to get since eq started to bore and cs but then i saw shadownbane and planetside

ive been thinking about planetside more since i like first person shooters and its a mmo but i dunno if alot of ppl play or not

how many ppl do you think play on a server cause this looks like a awsome game

4-5 thousand for sure on a server. I would say get Planetside, above all other games right now. There's tons of fighting goin on all the time.

Each little blue dot is 750 people...every yellow dot is 250...at most Markov has 3500 people on it. Beta proved that they just can't handle the 5000 they wanted.

That said, 3500 people is plenty. lots of stuff to do and the game rocks!

Bring the patience for a developing game, cuz it has tons of bugs,, such as LAAAAAG while playing.

o yes one more thing =) is snipering very effective like is it a one hit kill or will it take 2 or more shots because i like snipering and 33.5 kills a minute and being ranked #1 on a couple tribes 1 servers makes me happy :D ok maybe information you didnt care about or wanted to know but i like to brag :D

Snipeing takes 2 hits to kill a person not in a MAX suit, 1 hit if he is an infiltrator. The effectivness all depends on the preson behind the scope

I personally am a sniper its alot harder then in Tribes 1, there is no head shot, so it goes slower and you ahve less ammo in general but its well worth it. I also use our factions Anti-vehical weapon the Lancer to snipe MAX and airborn units, you have a biger shot cone so you can miss more but it really makes them mad when you kill them from so far out that you get hit once for every three rounds you pump in them and each round barely hurts you. The bad thing is that it takes 6 Lancer rounds to kill a full MAX and a hell of a lot for anything else, but sniper rounds dont hurt anything but people.

Also you cant snipe people out of vehicals from what I have tryed, jsut get with a group that can lay down mass fire and the vehicals wont matter.

so how many guns can you hold i saw that i think you have an inv and that ammo takes up space and other stuff and are there restrictions of weapons to the size class IE: light, medium, heavy

For that kind of info its best to check the offical site www.planetside.com its all listed there, and a lot easyer to read then the manual or us telling you. ;) Pluse you will ahve to actually experament a bit in game to really know how it feels.

Also check out the up comeing stuff, it will help you plan on where you want to go with your character.

well i thought shadowbane was going to be good but nooo it sucked the lag the point and click system just to move the bugs only about 400 ppl on so its hard to get a group so im just getting info form ppl who play =)
