I love how indignant the administration in Boston is being over this. If I were a Bostonian, I'd be VERY upset that they wasted three quarters of a million dollars (supposedly) in police activity "disarming" bombs that had been in places for WEEKS. Most terrorists have their bomb timers measured in minutes, if not seconds, so it's not like they could claim they actually thought they were bombs.

Was it stupid to put out an "ad" that really didn't convey any sort of message? Yeah, but everything I'm reading about the city's response smacks of them trying to cover up how criminally incompetent the leadership of Boston is by blaming the people who put them up. Nine other cities (including some no-name burgs like Seattle, Chicago and Philadelphia) had no complaints at all about these things. Interesting, don't you think?
