OMG, I figured after 10 months I'd give it a shot.

After looking at the account, I have a 38 Dwarf Hunter on Mal'Ganis. Anything I should be greatly aware of over the last 10 months? Am I still going to be ganked nonstop by Horde?

Ok, so I need to get myself back in the swing of things. What UI should I download, what things will be helpful, and what things should I have so I can update my info for the guild and etc. Is there a thread with all the info or am I just being lazy and not finding it?

I still use Cosmos, but it is up to your individual taste.

Welcome back! hopefuly you'll play longer than a month this time!

Anyways here's what you need to know.
Hunter rock in PVP,.
Paladins sux in both PVP & PVE.
Druids just got an uber buff to their feral forms if geared right a Druid will do rogue like damage now and they are pretty good healers stil.
Mages Pwn all!
Warlocks are fun in PVP not uber but defiantly not sux either. We need them badly in the guild Poor Shoody is the last of his kind on our guild.
Rogues the ultimate ganking class still.
Priest still pretty badass, if played right no one can kill you.
Warr if def spec can take a lot of melee damage best tanks in game, if spec’ed for damage can slaughter people with a decent wep.

Server is still pretty much horde owned, it’s not so bad when u hit 60 cuz your always in instance but lvl’ing up my alts is just as hard now as it was at the beginning. Best bet is to get your ass over to Kalimdor and don’t start shit with the horde. We have a lot of new people in ATF oh yeah Insti is in so make sure to pick on him. Skeez is playing again with Fearce’s old druid character and I don’t get on as often but try to make up for it by whoring my self out on the forums.

Actually, the Horde/Alliance ratio now is a bit better...unless you're a paladin. The Horde do not like paladins at all. However, I've noticed a steep fall-off in the Horde-Warrior-in-full-Might gankings. More often than not, I'm getting killed by people around my own level, which while no less annoying at least isn't frustrating.

My rogue seems to attract lots of people who are skulls, but then again I use that character to specifically piss of the Horde. So mission accomplished.

Other than that minor clarification that while the Horde are still assholes, it has calmed slightly...Muzo's assessment is largely correct.

Yeah, I tried to play the other night and got ganked like 4 times in a row by the Horde. I got so pissed off I quit. I may try again tonight if I don't get pissed as much.

lol, well if that is all it takes, I don't think you will last long again. You really can't play and expect that you won't be bothered by the Horde on any server. You just need to have some patience and move on to another place. It will help a lot when you can get a mount.

Yea man, I started playing again too. So level up quick and we can work on some stuff together! There's a few people in the guild in the mid 40's right now.

I hit 39 last night. I need some $$ for a mount when I hit 40 though. I've got about 40g right now, how much do I need for a mount?

Grunt you did good picking up the Lock, get to 60 and you'll have a blast group pvp'ing.

Like I said over TS Avenger get to Kalimdor and level, believe it or not but there are less horde in that part of the world than “our” continent.
