Your account worth more than your credit card

The BBC said it, it MUST be true:

From the article a credit card and info is apparently only worth $6 (probably due to the monitoring and such on stolen credit cards) while a WoW account is generally worth at least $10 to a thief, more if there's many high-level characters on it.

Mrs. Stokes IT Security Dept. here at work has been all over this little problem for the past couple days.

Apparently it was big enough to throw them out of their normal "MIcrosoft Patch Routine" and go into "War Mode"......

Link to KB article? a patch was installed yesterday, but it did not seem relevant to this issue
