What Have I Done? Writting A Story

For those of you who don't go to the Xmen forum, then you wouldn't have seen the still evolving story I have been writting for the past two school quarters for fun. The story is based off the game called "X2: The Threat", which is a space simulator. I am linking to the revised version which is still being written. I have another version on the same forum that was made last quarter but Ihave decided that it needed some major work and began to redo it this school quarter. The original is 18 pages and the revised is currently on page 17 even though it is only on page 4 of the original text. Hope you will take a gander at it and tell me what you think.

Take your time reading it in parts. Or give it a read while your sitting around waiting for a raid to start in WoW. I would like to hear your thoughts on it. The responce I get from readers will determine if I continue the story into further 'books' or not.

I expect over spring break to add several more pages to it. My intent is to have this story done by the end of Spring Quarter. Depending on the responces I get once this story is done I will be willing to write a sequel and maybe even spin off's into individual character stories.

The idea I have for a sequal would pick up not too long after this story ends and centered around the reconstruction of the universe, the rise and fall of dictators that claim regions as their own, and the formation of a player controlled defense network instead of Admin controlled. It would be from there that spin off's can appear, the individual stories of how specific players achieved their goals or simply survived.

Why bother writing is because I felt like it. Why bother reading is up to you.
