Next patch for download

I have put up the next patch for download http://www.alliedtribalforces.com/content.php?p=128

Extract to your WoW directory any time, on patch day (12/5) it will install.

These files are from the Background Downloader instead of by exe, so they need to go into WoW-1.12.x-to-2.0.1-enUS-patch folder.

Once they are extracted you should have:

World of Warcraft\WoW-1.12.x-to-2.0.1-enUS-patch\wow-partial-1.MPQ
World of Warcraft\WoW-1.12.x-to-2.0.1-enUS-patch\wow-partial-2.MPQ

When your Background Downloader runs next, it will verify the file integrity and presto...just wait for Tuesday magick.

In case you don't follow addon information closely, there are some big changes and restrictions coming this patch that is going to break a ton of addons and macros. If you use a lot of addons, be prepared to spend a lot of time fixing them. The updated addons are usually labeled as Burning Crusade compatible or WoW 2.0 compatible.

Cosmos have a version ready on Tuesday to reload?

Will Decursive no longer be an option with this patch?

Cosmos has had a version in development for 2.0 for some time, but there are still quite a few addons that have not been brought up to date. I am not sure if they are going to make it or not. Here is the list of addons not up to date yet http://www.cosmosui.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=16505

Decursive will no longer be an option, Blizzard is blocking it's functionality.

There is a nice - but outdated - warlock addon called Servitude that I will have to learn to live without. The guy who wrote it no longer plays and it hasnt been updated in quite some time.

As long as Cosmos mostly works, I generally will be ok. Hopefully Countdoom (another tasty lock goody) will still work. And quickmountequip, and WoWEcon, and .........

For the longest time, I tried to specifically use as few addons as possible because I got tired of patch day hosing them up.... Lately I've slipped and I guess now I will have to suck it up....

For clarification: There will be a decursive, however all it will be able to do is show you who needs to be decursed. You will still have to manually select them and decurse them.

I put up wow-partial-3.MPQ, it wasn't available at the time of the previous zip.

Download and place it into the WoW-1.12.x-to-2.0.1-enUS-patch folder.

The big zip has been updated to include it.
