If you drew up the posts in the tree hierarchy, the first response would be under Fate's post, while the second post I made would be under Banne's post, which itself was a response to Fate's post and would have been on the same level as the first post that I made. Therefore, my posts exist on two different tiers of the discussion whereas a double post would exist on same tier.
