The
D3 questions getting asked in relation to
WoW are quite numerous lately, and it's important to remember one big thing:
Blizzard loves to share technology amongst the games.
Diablo 2 had a lot of precursors to
WoW, as did all their other games. Even some
WoW elements are in
StarCraft 2 (achievements, Battle.net integration). Will some of this tech eventually make it into
WoW? Almost assuredly.
But ... not everything is a technology decision, as we'll see in our first question.
