You ever get in Levo? Swaddles is saying that Skull Throne is only one of two that's jam-packed full.

In the event that Skull Throne does not settle down...ideas for our Destruction server? Just as a backup.

Swaddles has made the logical suggestion of Vortex. Assuming that Skull Throne stays busy (which it sadly seems likely to do), I suppose that'd be a good place. More people = more smashy = more fun...right?

Don't necessarily let me sway things here (I've been uninvolved in ATF long enough to be a scrub now), but there will be me and three other guys I know (maybe more?) on Vortex. At ~3:00pm CST today it was medium / medium population. It appeared in the list in a spot that seemed to show it had a respectable population--not overflowing with queue lines (none), yet it wasn't a low pop server. It's probably in the top quarter population-wise right now. It could get to a full level at prime time--who knows. To me, it's a balancing act of not getting on a dead server vs an over-crowded server. This might hit that balancing point *just* about right. Time will tell.

As of this writing, Skull Throne has ~150 in the queue for both sides. Vortex is up to a Med / High level now. Going to be interesting to see overall server populations during prime tonight as the second wave of pre-orders hit.

SO it's prime time and every one is trying to log on right now...Skull Thor Q 392.
Vortex even has a Q. It's not as bad as Skull Thorn. We might want to consider just going with a low pop server till release as I'm sure it will fill as well.. I'll be on Team speak. Come talk to me and tell me what you think

D'oh! Missed this post by a few minutes before diving back in.

Vortex had a small-ish queue at prime time but was pretty quiet prior. Skull Throne's queue just got worse. Of course, my concern is that the 18th will just repeat what happened with Skull Throne with Vortex since it's starting to push that same limit.

I suppose we'll go with Vortex for now, but still be prepared to move if its population explodes on Thursday too.

Today is really the day we start to look at solidifying things. Both Volkmar and Skull Throne (our initial idea servers) had populations shoot through the roof with the pre-order release. Like, "Mythic asking people to go to other servers because they'd stretched the population limits as high as they could go" kind of shooting up.

As it stands, Vortex for Destruction...Order TBA if we opt to go that way. That could very well change by tonight if Vortex gets slammed by people coming in.

I'm playing on the Ungrim server right now for order....never thought I would like the "good guys" but hey...I have a lvl 12 there so I'm prolly going to be playing order for a bit.
