PC Gamer has revealed its April issue #225 cover featuring PlanetSide 2. Physical issues have started shipping to subscribers and will hit store shelves February 28th. This issue of PC Gamer Magazine features new interviews with our San Diego development team, game info and artwork from the PlanetSide 2 universe as well as an exclusive priority access Beta code for its readers. While the official PlanetSide 2 Beta date has yet to be announced, when it goes live PC Gamer Beta key holders along with Fan Faire 2011 registered attendees, and original PlanetSide 1 players will have priority access. Get ready for massive warfare on an epic scale!

I still think it is a ways off. As well, anyone who had an PlanetSide 1 account should get beta access as well, even possibly before the PC Gamer codes become active.

They put so much in this game, it's unreal. I just hope this generation of PC's can handle those kind of graphics and 500+ players easy. Would be a shame if you get Illum style battles.

Or...the kind of slideshow that the original PS was famous for?

You can see some hitching in the tank demo, but it's still alpha so meh. SOE does have annoying habit of letting alpha bugs make it to release though...

Been playing PS for the past 2 months again. I hope I'm not burned out by the time PS2 comes out. Really enjoying it but VS is still the underdog. Just got done with a 3 way battle on Cyssor and the TR and NC used the VS for the grape jelly in a sandwich. Might have to take a breather and pickup KOTOR just to check it out.
