LCDs for gaming... what do you think?

I read some good reviews about this monitor

http://www.viewsonic.com/products/de...ries/va1912wb/

I wanted to replace my 19" CRT after I noticed how much easier LCDs are on the eyes. No one reports significant ghostage, so I think even CS:S should run acceptably. Does anyone currently use a LCD in WoW?

I have an LCD monitor that I play Diablo 2, X2 The Threat, X3 Reunion, Sim City 4, The Sims 2, Mechwarrior 4, Tribes 2, and more on with no problems. In fact when I showed the monitor off with Sim City 4 my dad and me saw the game as being much more vibrant and colorful than it looked on either my old monitor or on his current one. So for me it was an upgrade.

I went from a Viewsonic 17 inch CRT to a Samsung 17 inch LCD.

Gosting is really a thing of the past where computer games are concerned. It was when response times were in the mid 20's to 30's was when it was the big downer for LCD gaming. Anything in their teens or less is not bad.

I have a 19" ViewSonic VP912B and I love it, been thinking about getting a VP930b to go along side it.

I have a 20.1" ViewSonic and I love it as well (16ms response). Ghosting isn't as issue as Gryphon said.
