need some serious technical help >.>
got royally pissed at vista today and took out my xp disc and reformatted. total mistake T.T now i apparently have no sound and my wow, though fully installed again through all 8 discs of bc and wow will not start. it gives me an error message when i hit the play button. Quote:

Did you load XP from MS Media or a vendor's "restore" disc? It sound's like the former, and you may be needing to load supporting drivers from the manufacturers of the various PC components. XP is pretty good about finding the right drivers for most peripherals and some internal cards, but motherboard drivers - onboard sound, on board video, disk drive support, etc. usually needs to be installed from CD or the mobo manufacturer's website.
In Control Panel, click on the "System" icon, then select the "Hardware" tab, click on "Device Manager" in the resulting window you will see a directory tree of hardware devices, whereever there is a question or exclamation mark you need to find a driver for.
