Warhammer Online

Anyone out there looking at possibly playing Warhammer Online? Been waiting for another MMO based on PvP, and this could be a winner.

I haven't been hearing anyone talk about it so I haven't look at how it is coming along.

I had very high hopes for the game since it's based on a gaming IP being done by a decent enough PvP developer...then EA bought the company and that promptly went down the tubes.

I'll probably give it a try, but I rate EA way below SOE on MMO quality and support, and I don't rate SOE that highly.

Actually, they've announced that work has already begun on a Warhammer 40k MMO game. I'd hold out much more hope for that one

They also announced that they're looking at something on the order of 2010 release.

That was their "this is a neat idea" announcement, not a "we actually have code written" announcement.
