Midnight madness?
Is anyone going to their local EB games for the midnight release. I'm debating - I'll need a nap today if I do.

I pre-ordered mine from EB for store pickup. I got the recorded phone message from them yesterday advertising the Midnite Madness event.
My plan is for Mrs. Stoke to swing by there on her way home from work tomorrow and pick mine up. Therefore it should be sitting on my desk, waiting installation when I get home. Asking her to go ahead and begin installing would severely be pushing my luck..... I'm not in **that** big of a hurry.... as we all know, all the new stuff will be drastically overcrowded anyway and the server will probably crash repeatedly...... We shall see...... |

Hmmm we do live pretty close to a Best Buy and usually do stay up til a little after midnight. Even though I don't see it running out around here but maybe might have to run over and get it.

My son and I are heading down to the supermaul (hehe bearly snuck that one by ) He's not a wow fan, but he wants to see with his own eyes that his dad is enough of a geek to stand in line at midnight for a game ( I point out his signed copy of Halo2 and mumble something about people in glass houses)
So we will head down about 11:00pm and pick up the game. Then I come home load it up and grind my druid feral she's worth (hoo hooo!) Needless to say, I've proclaimed tomorrow as a snowday - I'm taking vacation but I have my laptop so I can help folks out virtually. |

Gryph would be so proud of me, I ninja'd my copy ahead of people that had been waiting in line for almost 2 hrs.
They had a line to get a number to get in the "real" line. I was in the store when 12 rolled around so me and 6 other got our copies ahead of all the people waiting. I was there about 20 mins. It's burning.....Burning Crusade Time!! PS>Install is 4 disk. |

So it's about ten til midnight, I'm standing in the back of the line. I've already paid - they had a line for that to go through first. When I paid the clerk was talking to the manager saying he had 11 copies left. Since the line I'm in now stretches a good 200feet I feel rather lucky.

Stoke what is your job I'm in the electrical generation business myself. LoL. First nuclear, then gast turbines, and now I'm working in Hydro
