Personally..I fear for the life of Planet Side when these things are released.
There will be no more Zerg.
Armor..only need it now to cert the bfr.
It's gonna be like Battle Tech outside and MCG&J-Hammers in side..We all know how our HA fares vs those weapons inside.
Jacking a BFR..the driver would be a dumb ass to get out of it.

Don't get me wrong, change is always a good thing. This may be to much though in my humble opinion.

Hopefully it will only last a few days and then will die down cuz I always like having good battles outside and fighting to get into a courtyard or into a base. With BFR's that might take that away. Im crossing my fingers it will only last a few days then die down. I wasnt too sure about them bringing these into the game but kinda want to see what they bring now but like you don't want it to ruin the battles and make them too easy to just use a robot to squish everyone and then the battle be over.

Battles for the bases are the best when you got a good crew and the zerg is working together.

yes i am scared to its is going to be varty bad with the uber J-hammer outside on BFRs and then the J-hammer inside.

If I remember correctly everyone was saying the end of Planetside was coming when they introducded the Flail in Core Combat. They said it would remove the need to have tanks because they can clear the area far better. People said that when the Liberator came into the game that the combat would be ruined. At first it did until people found out how to kill them effectively and that it was a death trap to fly in them.

I believe that at first for a week or so combat as we know it will stop and BFR zerging will be common. Then after words combat will start going back to normal and adapt to the addition of the BFRs.

Also the current Test server build has it so that BFR's CAN NOT BE HACKED. They are testing to see how people respond to it and how it effects game play. I bet it will go back to being able to hack them before it goes life because of all the complaints already.

They released the names for each BFR variant.

TR Flight: Invader
TR Gunner: Juggernaut
NC Flight: Eagle
NC Gunner: Sentinel
VS Flight: Eclipse
VS Gunner: Orion

They also brought back hacking with a 3 minute timer, 2 if your advanced.

Lol I'm Adv Hacker, So I wanted 2 hack a BFR.. Takes 2 minuts with a Adv Hack and 3 Min with normal hack :P

i have not realy seen any tatics used with them yet but i have seen soccer with a magrider

I can see it now, the only reason the VS is in the game is so our hover vehicles can be used as soccer balls for the other two empires BFRs.

We will show them how much a soccer ball can hurt them.

The funniest thing with your bfr is when you are in runmode, then you walk right into a cloak bubble of the ams :P then you run against it, then you see it flying against a tree and BOOM bye ams :P
