How about a shorter version of Avenger's idea: "Alpha to Charlie; we have secured the facility."
Text chat is good for some things like spelling things out. When someone says: "Invite Ja34Tds." It might be better doing that in plain text than speech.

Hell, I ignored ALL chat during matches in T2...lol. If it wasnt a voice bind or on voice comm I never saw it.

I always ignore text chat for the most part. I look at it every so often, but if it ain't green, I don't read it.

There are voice binds in PS also.... hit the v key and take a look. They go out in the chat channel you have choosen (should be outfit for cross squad comm) and audibly in our general area.
And if Maz and Phal fixed there mics, chat wouldn't be as important. |

Yeah, I wish the voicebinds did to your squad like T2 did to your team instead of just doing a local sound message Would make it easier to get noticed.

my mic is working(sounds fine on the M$ sound recorder, local stuff etc)... but since i can't hear myself i can't tell what is going on, and when its broadcasted and people yell at me

locally sounds fine, broadcasted on ts apparently doesn't (i dont know what the problem is, people just yell at me to shut it off)

Phal, try to go in and change the default device that TS uses or switch awayfrom Directsound in TS and see if that helps.
