Time to build a new rig whats your advice

My first build has lasted me almost 10 yrs now, but its just not cutting it. Still tromping along but time to pass it down to the children. Would like to hear your opinion. Thinking anywhere from 600-1200. The one I built cost me about 1100 and it lasted me this long with only adding an extra hard drive and upgrading the DVD drive. Would like to hear your opinion on motherboards and chips.

Intel Core i7, and as much RAM and video as you can get.. That will satiate your Pr0n hunger for many moons!
