TeamSpeak login system

Our TeamSpeak server is public, all are welcome. To login to the TeamSpeak server, you create your account through this web site, you will need to be logged into the forums and then go to TeamSpeak (the TeamSpeak link in the top menu)

This system allows us to keep the server open to friends while being able to keep tabs on who exactly is using the server in order to manage troublemakers. It will also allow you to change your password at any time, and provide you with a way to always know where to find your login information.

All people registered with these forums have access to create an account, so if anyone says, "what is the server info?", or "what is the password?", tell them to sign up on the forums and then direct them to the form. It is the link called TeamSpeak in the top menu of the forum. Please feel free to invite any of your freinds to use the server as they wish, everyone has been great about respecting everyone on the server.

Works for me, however if I delete my cookies is there a way to reset the password? I wish Teamspeak could trust PHP authentication so that once you have credentials on the forum that is all thats needed to open the TS session but the two do operate in different realms.

Well the cookies are just for your site login so you can access that page. Deleting your cookies wont affect anything other than you will just have to login to view that page. Once your password is set, you shouldnt really need to go to that page unless you want to change your password or forgot your username/password.

But... Before I sign up, are you planning on deleting the forums again any time soon, Gryph? Or redoing the TS login stuff again anytime soon?
