Trial of the Crusader = Naxx killer?
With the release of 3.2 there are numerous new dungeons at the Coliseum--5, 10 and 25 man--all with heroics. The 5 man alone has gear on par with Naxx 10. The heroic version of it will have gear on par with Naxx 25. Aside from the T7 / 7.5 gear and the final boss higher level gear, it seems Naxx might have no real purpose anymore (except maybe the... experience?). You can run the 5 man normal version of the trial over and over and it takes all of 20-25 minutes if nobody is dying. It didn't take us too long to figure each fight out and the strategies. It's similar to Violet Hold in that you have a little bit of different makeup in the bosses each round.
All in all, it's a very fast and easy way to get gear on part with Naxx 10, and even Naxx 25 doing it once a day on heroic (which we still need to do). We should be able to gear up for Ulduar before too long I hope. |

Re: Trial of the Crusader = Naxx killer?
I am always down for new stuff! . On the Naxx topic, I would do Naxx now more than ever! I did it lastnight and we cleared in 3 hours and got a bunch of emblems of Conquest.
The 2 pieces of tier gear you can obtain from the emblem vendor will cost you 116 emblems for the two,and that's not taking intoo account the T8 level gloves, belts and boots you can get from the same vendor! . So in my opinion, now is a great time to run all the heroics, Naxx's and OS's you can do =o) Count me in though, for the new 5 man dungeon! |

Re: Trial of the Crusader = Naxx killer?
I guess Naxx would be good for piles of badges. My problem with Naxx is I can't dedicate the time to sit down and run it aside from once or twice a week at best. A three hour non-stop commitment just doesn't work most days of the week for me.

Re: Trial of the Crusader = Naxx killer?
I think Naxx is fun, but I agree 100% with the time issue and the fact that the new dungeons are also fun as hell and QUICK.. hell, farming it three times on the first day of release netted some damn fine upgrades to gear and took less time than the tourney dailies...
so, I'm mixed on the issue and would still try to run naxx when I can, but i also agree wholeheartedly that gearing up, other than sets is a HELL of a lot quicker with the new stuff.

Here's the current loot list for the normal and heroic versions of Trial of the Champion. While it doesn't cover every slot, quite a few slots are covered between the two.

Oh thanks been looking around to see if anyone had one up yet but figured I'd have to wait a few for something to be put up.
