This one time. Long ago. When we were about 4 years younger. There was this awesome game called planetside- which has gone to utter crap from what I hear- and like, there was these wonderful outfits called atf and wolfbrigade. and I totally miss them...

...and the people in them of course.

I've been.. bouncing around looking for new games.

Friend of mine went to test out pside.. I'm crying inside at the horribleness of the NC and TR now. Apparently VS dominate- we actually have vets left.

I mean.. for crying out loud they actually get off OS's on BFRs. Terrible shit.

Yeah...if you get OS'ed in a BFR you're either not paying attention or have decided to wander into a crowded courtyard and stayed there despite knowing it was going to be OS'ed.

Didn't they combine the US servers though? VS Emerald was always a beast. While VS Markov had a death-grip on last place in any world events, VS Emerald usually dominated whenever they bothered to try. Always made me sad that our guys were so inept in comparison. Could be why the VS are strong now though...

I talk with cathy at times. Don't see him much though.

Decided to join my buddy on NC, woo 14 day trials. And yeah they merged it, there's only gemini- US and some bs european server.

Okay new shit I HAVE to talk about. They added a flamethrower, might be old news, but it ignores armor >.>. A crap ton more engi stuff- cloaked spitfires, flak spitfires, emp mines, mobile (as in you can set them up) stealth generators, sensor disruptors, tank traps... oh you can upgrade wall turrets too for flak and 75mm

Oh you can hijack manned vehicles now with expert hacking cert. I stole a mag and an aphelion- lol right?

Freaking MA pistols are beasts. 6 shots from the NC once takes down rexo.. though that's pretty much the clip. secondary fire just unloads it all in half a sec and drains all your stam.

Phantasm is pretty as usual. flies a bit worse than the galaxy if that's even imaginable. freaking flying brick.

Yeah.. that's bout all I got.

My problem wasn't so much the lack of weapons and such....always felt those were fine. I got tired of the same 10 base layouts time and time again.

Good to hear that jacking is less....goofy now. Always seemed dumb that you could sit in an enemy base with an APC under cover and not have to worry about anything so long as you had a driver AFK in it.
