In a few hours PART II
Once again, here in a few hours I will be in the aging but still nice Greensboro Coliseum for part 2 of my 2007 Van Halen experience. I will have better seats this time so the excitement level is still high. Thursday night we were way up in the upper deck of the Arena. We will still be up top tonight but much much much lower with a far better viewing angle.

whats a Van Halen? Some sort of van from the netherlands or something? And Roth, isnt that an IRA? Darn, I must be too young for this sort of thing.
No but really, thats rad you got to go both nights. Too bad Michael Anthony is with Sammy Hagar exlusively basically now. Ahh well, the Van Halen's Loss. |

Round 2 was waaaaaay better than opening night. I guess there was some nervousness and all Thursday night that seemed to have worked itself out. And our seats were so much better this time....we could actually see and hear what was going on. Thursday night we were at the very top of the upper deck, on the side. There was a low roof right over us that totally hosed any sound that made it up there. We couldnt hardly see the video screen due to the light rigging. Last night we were in the 4th row of the upper deck straight back looking directly at the stage. The huge HD video screen was awesome and we could see the whole light show. We could actually hear what Dave was saying this time around.... 2 shows in 3 nights.....I'm ready to go again. If anyone remotely has a chance to get tickets, I would highly recommend doing so...it was an awesome experience. |

bah.. too much money.. and w/o Michael Anthony's backing vocals, it's a different sound.
I'm still jealous, though.
