Kara Progress
Finally..
In a rather spur-of-the-moment Kara that had a decidedly pug-ish feel, we downed 4 bosses and made two really good attempts on the Curator. Attunemen Morose Opera (Red Riding Hood) Maiden Curator 2x attempts Not bad at all.. Baller really helped and it prolly wouldn't have been possible without his epicness, but those of us who haven't run through that far at all and those that haven't played the roles we played last night learned a bunch. Now we need to do it regularly... unfortunately, the rest of the week looks grim for Reme to raid.

F'in Reme! Always keeping us down!
Yeah we gotta get some Khara raid times scheduled that can please us all. It was a really good run, and yeah with out Baller we would not have killed maiden for sure and probably not the wolf. |

Re: Kara Progress
All Hail Lord Baller!
And hopefully the fact that he didn't have to say "*sigh* clear vent guys" every three seconds was worth the repair bills. Although, I'm sure Stike will cry because none of us recorded Baller giving us an overview of the fights in his dulcent tones. I'd say we did excellent considering how buggy the whole instance was last night and how bad Reme's connection was... |

Re: Kara Progress
Let it be said that my early exit allowed the entry of His Highness, Lord Baller. The sacrifices I make for this guild.....

Re: Kara Progress
Don't let Reme keep you down, let me do that. I've been farming Kara (Attumen-Prince, including Nightbane) for weeks now. Err...Didn't mean to brag =(

Re: Kara Progress
Kara 2nd time in a week (w00t! let's keep it going)
we downed Attunemen (FARM) Morose (FARM) Opera - Big Bad Wolf (FARM) several attempts on Maiden; no love. A DC, DI and some problems cleansing held us back. not bad at all, since we didn't have his epicness Baller to do the work FOR us. I actually think we did a great job. for you healer-types and well, everyone else who wants to come along with us, go read the strat guide for Maiden at wowwiki. Maiden of Virtue - WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft. There are macros, ect in the text that you might be interested in. The problem is, if you're unfamiliar with some strats that haven't been used since BWL, you're almost nubbish ad cleansing and spacing. These haven't been important in any of the 5-mans, so practice is the key. I don't know of any guild that did a full clear or put a boss on farm status the first times they brought groups up against them. Gearing & practice takes time. We're doing a great job. Keep showing up and we'lll keep at it. Hopefully, i'll be able to be there on Sunday and we pwn Maiden! |

Re: Kara Progress
The Curator attempts showed that we have the strategy more or less under control. We can get to his evocate fine, we just don't have the DPS and mana endurance to pull it off. Mainly work needed in tightening up healing, damage and spacing discipline, with gear unsurprisingly as the biggest roadblock at the moment.

Re: Kara Progress
Curator downed easily. DPS was nice, healing was nice, tanking on adds helped. Room being bugged again sucked. Now for Aran, and then the easy epics of chess event.
